Dear Friends
Way back in 1995 I began writing papers in support of the Campaign for Interest-free Money – see https://www.interestfreemoney.org – which was launched in 1998 supported by Rev Peter Challen, chair of CCMJ. In 2007 I wrote the first post on my new website: https://www.co-operativesocialism.org. A key paper was the Reader in the CCPA Monitor in 2009: https://www.interestfreemoney.org/papers/CCPA-Co-operativeSocialism.pdf.
Soon after my return from Canada I joined Occupy, who camped outside St Paul’s Cathedral, protesting against the flaws, which had led to a widespread collapse of the banking system – https://occupylondon.org.uk – and continued working with the Occupy Economics Working Group – one of several listed here: https://occupylondon.org.uk/45300-2/.
Our meetings closed due to the pandemic lockdown in 2019. Since then I’ve been working to get
Co-operative Socialism accepted as a way forward in UK politics and would like to invite you to discuss how to take this forward at a recommenced Global Table meeting on Monday 4th September at Wetherspoons in Victoria Station, London, from 3-7pm.
I look forward to seeing you there,
