After 18 years of pushing for this, it’s a proud moment re the tables have turned with the United Nations including #natural#capital#accounting, taking our traditional GDP beyond post-war fossil-fueled capitalism, which we’re still paying subsidies to support (approx $5 Trillion).

What this means:
1. Externalities = everything external to the economic system
2. Expect reporting to include all environmental impact on your business, in policy and in your personal lives.
3. Big changes and expect fireworks at COP26
