Tis the season to be jolly…
…or it would be if today’s politics weren’t so polarized and highly charged, and the world didn’t feel like it was falling apart.
At Simpol, we’re trying to be of good cheer, focusing on a way to meet the world with solutions that reconcile, that heal, and that forgive.
We see people on the political right wanting less immigration, trying to safeguard their sense of national and cultural identity. We see those on the political left wanting an end to wealth inequality and environmental destruction. We see Simpol bridging the gap between them.
Only global cooperation can end the wars and desperate economic circumstances that drive people to migrate against their will. Only global cooperation can deliver global taxes on financial markets and multi-national corporations so that wealth is redistributed to the nations that need it, leading their economies to grow, allowing their citizens to make a living at home, and so safeguard the national cultural identities of all nations, north and south.
Only global cooperation and simultaneous implementation can deliver regulations on emissions that don’t risk businesses and jobs moving elsewhere.
Only Simpol can reconcile the legitimate concerns of both Right and Left.
