On seeing this first quote I pondered in the light of the exchanges
on this network in recent years. I’d value further exchanges. Peter
“THERE CAN BE NO UNIVERSAL SOLUTION,
ONLY A PROLIFERATION OF ACTION.”
Yes BUT!
The action of each of us is inextricably three-fold;
1. Uniquely personal, local, focussed in daily tasks
yet with response-ability for mindfulness of
2. Socially significant in voting for national integrity,
a social-economy politically governed for inclusive justice.
3. Contextualised in global awareness of nature’s gifted harmony.
Thus, three influential spheres need essential inter-play
reflecting Cosmic Prior Unity from which emanates
all life’s endless rich and dignified variety;
a universal solution born as spirit’s incarnation in each of us:
a Kith-and-Kin-Dom with the Ground of all being,
God, its beating heart and flowing evolution.
Why wax so preciously at the thought of ‘God’,
the infinite creator of the eternal task of giving, yes giving,
life to all creation scaled down in each locality in detail,
with dignity for every elementary part.
Those parts so quickly distorted in the freedom given
by self-centredness, the individualism so rampant
in western culture, as largely unchallenged in centuries gone by.
“None of us can be fully human until all are fully human”,
i.e. generously free and sensitively response-able
in each of those three inseparable spheres.
