In the latest Deep Dive Perspective to be released, Tony Gosling unpicks the history of the enclosure of the commons, specifically land and resources in the UK, and how food and farming, the fundamental basis of our existence, are under attack.

Institutional hierarchy and theft of the commons are the result of our using money as the means of organising society, activities and relationships.

Consequently, when Tony talks about solutions, he is framing them within the current paradigm of institutional hierarchy, as if a change of government policies will magically transform life for humanity. It will never happen because the structure, created and fuelled by money and the ideology of destruction that underpins it, will not allow it.

We need to replace the structure by creating something better.
