Dear Peter Challen,
Last Chance to Sign a Petition for the UN COP 28 telling them that our monetary system
is linked to environmental degradation  A group of Environmental AMIers from the
Conference working with Alliance For Just Money friends and other connected monetary
reformers created this petition -with links below – to be signed by individuals and
organizational representatives. More than twenty-five organizations worldwide have signed
the AMI statement to COP28, and it is hoped that your signature is on the way.

Please consider adding your name or appeal to an organization you are part of to examine
our analysis of the current monetary system and how it could be reformed. The UN Climate
Conference COP28 starts Thursday, November 30th, and we like to have a robust list of
signatories. If we do not liberate the financial sector from its current mismanagement,
exploitation and pollution will continue. If we do not prevent the creation of booms and
busts, then the impoverishment of regular people and austerity for governments will go on.

If the privilege of money creation and its allocation stays in private hands, a transition to a
sustainable economy will be very difficult. The privilege of the money creation process
should be returned to the people and its representatives for our general welfare and not for
the enrichment of the few.In short, the economy needs more breathing room to deal with
its polluting externalities effectively, and the government needs more funds to encourage
and guide that process. We contend that monetary reform is crucial to make that transition.
