Sad news of the death of a courageous protagonist for an evolved and inclusive perception of the Christian Faith. John {Jack] Shelby Spong, Episcopalian Bishop pf Newark New Jersey 1979-2000. died September 12th 2021. Author of some 25 books, the last being UNBELIEVABLE in 2018 – Available at c.£15 [He is almost exactly my age, just  less 3 months].
That book has twelve theses in critique and then a final chapter ‘My Mantra: This I can believe’  – I’ve ignored copyright and attach that affirmatory final Mantra. Your comments if you read those few pages would be greatly appreciated.
