Economics with Justice – Introductory Course at School of Philosophy & Economic Science

The economy is supposed to work for all of us, but often it’s complex, unwieldy and leaves people behind. Our course examines simple principles and seeks to find better ways of organising ourselves. Join us for ten weekly sessions examining how our economy works, covering topics like money, credit, tax, land, banking, sustainability and the natural world. With a focus on the study of human relations in society – through a lens of justice and fairness – we can better understand the world and our place in it. Our course seeks to show how freedom and prosperity are possible for people everywhere, provided we understand and follow natural laws, and aim for just outcomes in all our economic activity.
