The right wing press is lying about the Land Value tax. The true story can be found in particular in the three blogs by Fred Harrison, with support in the other seven, among the ten blogs on affordable housing shown below, and on the
Harrisburg Pennsylvania website. It also works well in Denmark and Hong Kong.
In the
TAP article in the Huffington Post we draw attention to the way the value of the corner stone of the current benefit system crumbled from 1979 until 2010 and from then is being deliberately eroded while the Universal Credit is rolled out. A comment on Twitter read “How can we expect people to be physically and mentally well if they must live on £73.10 a week?”
Immediately the results pf the election are announced we will announce the TAP programme of campaigning, who ever forms a government, for the prevention of ill health by the provision of affordable homes and adequate incomes. Please register for the Health Equality seminar if you are living not too far away. We will consider repeating the seminar in Manchester later in the year.
