From Peter Koenig
1. As a basis for realising the myriad intelligent designs for improvement or transformation of the financial system now understood and proposed by many, there needs to be a critical mass of these would-be “monetary reformers” in a community who have each done the requisite inner work, researched and embodied a transforming, peaceful, coherent relationship to money in their own personal lives.
The essence of this is explained in the first 5 minutes of this video interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9f4uy1re0Po
(Failing this inner work, structural innovations become appropriated within the existing system and contrary to the originating intention wind up supporting the status quo)
2. As a foundation, alien as this may sound to many seeking change, there needs to be Gratitude for the present system, for all the things it continues to provide, even with its warts. Paradoxical and difficult to reach as it may sound or look, this acceptance and gratitude, this genuine, loving, grateful spirit for all-that-is up to this point, is the foundation or springboard for realisation of further development, wished-for change, realisation of vision, transformation or however one likes to name it.(Without this gratitude there is no foundation. The projects must fail).
I suggest that the foregoing are coherent with Christian teaching, including the expanded notion of Justice as “from each according to his/her ability, to each according to her/his need”.
