Some interesting responses to the recent disturbing YouTube group reflection on the God of Money are coming to the open global table’s sharing of ‘The End of the Road’. One group discussion offered this bold reflection……requiring no attribution

WAKE UP, PUT SELF-CONCEITS TO SLEEP.

Wake up, it’s time to put to sleep our self-conceits,
awakening to maturity and tidying up our legacy
by the daily extension by each of us
of our faithful specific local witness each day
to the unravelling miracle of life entire.

We seek life-time evolvement in human creativity
by harmonising Spirituality and Science,
in firm faith to the enrichment of eternity.
Cosmic God is both source of all and of every part,
the ever-flowing creative and uncoercive impulse,
beyond which all is void.

Science depicts growth in physical detail.
Faith expands the minute particulars
of wisdom’s riches, fuelling a purposeful life for all.
Where Gaian ‘all’ is an aspect of ‘each’, and
‘each’ an aspect of ‘all’ Mother Earth.

Alas, humanity, which in its evolution birthed
a rich mix of senses, has stagnated
in our over-awed dependence on self,
and a false, extortionate ‘God’ of money,
thus hastening extinction of this sacred planet.

More and more contemporary writing
ignores rivalling denominations in the search}
for inclusive human Faith and Witness,
with every birth an act of creativity
reaching to be loved and nurtured
to its own maturity as another
unique expression of faith and witness.
